Jones Sports' work on the new Allegiant Stadium was a part of a Mortensen/McCarthy Joint Venture. We engineered, fabricated, and installed multiple elements of the new Las Vegas Raiders stadium including scoreboard horns, custom video board cladding, upper bowl fencing, and ornamental railings.
Jones Sports won the bid to engineer, fabricate, and install decorative scoreboard horns to the left and right sides of three digital scoreboards at Allegiant Stadium. We also designed, built, and installed the aluminum structures that house the two video boards, the upper bowl fence, and the ornamental railings outside the stadium at each entrance.
Our play was to use Jones Sports' unique Target Value Design (TVD) program to stay within budget, while fully executing the Raiders' vision. Our internal design engineering and fabrication teams worked together to create the unique scoreboard horns, custom cladding, and ornamental railings. We self-performed all installation to ensure perfect placement.
Evidence of Jones Sports' creativity and capabilities is on display throughout the stadium. Six, 50-foot high decorative horns were designed, fabricated, and placed in pairs to flank the three scoreboards. 1,300 feet of fencing encompasses the entire upper bowl seating area. Custom cladding wraps around the videoboard displays on the club level of the stadium. Ornamental railings welcome visitors outside each stadium entrance.
